The John Fuller School Project SUCCEED
After School Program is planning an Open House and Supper for
Tuesday June 14th 2011. We will plan to begin at 4:00pm.
The Project SUCCEED staff will set up stations around the school to
demonstrate different activities. The Students have learned
lots of fun things this year and they would like to share with their
families. At 4:45 we will plan to meet in the Cafeteria for
sandwiches and "Make Your Own Sundaes". We will
begin planning for next year. Again, we are looking
forward to another FUN filled year!! We hope you All have a
Safe and Healthy Summer!
Fondly, Brenda Drew and the John Fuller Project SUCCEED Staff
John Fuller After School Program has been very busy with a variety
of enrichment activities. We continue to get as much exercise
everyday as we possibly can. The weather has been very nice so
we have been able to go outside. When bad weather prevents s from
going outside we get to enjoy the Gymnasium for Catch Kids Club
activities. Floor hockey is the most popular activity along
with basketball. Jump Start Arts will be joining us on
Wednesdays for the next few weeks and we look forward to having Tin
Mountain here in January. Homework Club participants continue
to be a hard working group! Most students enjoying being able
to go home with all their work completed so that they can spend
quality time with their families.
Project SUCCEED held the first Family Night in October.
We had a Wonderful time eating pizza, painting pumpkins to bring
home, and exercising with Mrs. Vogel in the gymnasium. The
families who joined us did a great job helping us with setting up
and clean up. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Our success is all because of the staff, faculty, and
supportive families of John Fuller. The JFS Project SUCCEED
Staff wish all of you a Happy and Healthy
Holiday Season!
John Fuller Afterschool students celebrated
Lights On! Afterschool
(The 21st Century Community Learning Centers annual nation wide
celebration for awareness and advocacy for Afterschool Programs)
with pumpkin painting, apple bobbing, eating donuts from a string
and other fun activities. Many students and staff participated
and fun was had by all! Thanks to Weston’s Farm for the donation of
pumpkins!
